Founded in
1949 as the New Haven Entomological Society, the Connecticut
Entomological Society was established to:
- Promote
entomology in
Connecticut
- Encourage
the exchange of
ideas and experiences related to the science of entomology among its
members and the general public.
Membership is open to all
individuals interested in entomology, whether
professional or amateur. Active members are those who have paid their
annual dues, and are entitled to vote on society actions. All
talks,
lectures and discussions are open to the public.
